Eggplant Parmigiana

“Romano’s signature item.”

Their words, not ours. Layers of eggplant and Provolone, topped with a homemade meatball, Italian sausage or mushroom. On the menu at lunch and at dinner, which is how you know.

Green Chile Ravioli

Jalapeño cream sauce and chicken breast. A New York family cooked in Colorado long enough to put green chile on the pasta menu, and it works.

Since 1967

Four generations, one street

Neil and Ellie opened Romano’s on Windermere Street in 1967. The family came from Italy in the early 1900s and sold food off a pushcart in New York before any of this. These photographs have been sitting on Romano’s own web server the whole time.
